The College Farm once operated a large poultry farm near campus, which was closed in the 1980s due to financial pressures. Today students raise layers and broilers on a small scale in pasture-based management systems. The layers are a mixed flock and the eggs are sold in the Farm Store. The broilers are Freedom Rangers, which are sold to the Dining Hall and available in the Farm Store.

The Farm maintains AWA certification for both poultry operations.
