The Berea Farmers Market is located in front of the Hospital. Tuesdays 3:30-6:30, Saturdays 9:00-noon.

Dear Friends of the Berea College Farm,
It’s your lucky week, instead of one newsletter, you get two from the Berea College Agriculture department! We’ve had the pleasure of bringing you a variety of fresh produce all summer long and this week we’ll continue to do just that.
This week at market we will still be having our deliciously tart yellow apples, Asian pears, as well as abundance of tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions we’ve had for the past few markets. New this week though, we will be selling zucchini, so dust those recipe books off and pick up some of our fresh and organic zucchinis to bake into a delicious loaf of bread.

Remember, school is just around the corner and for those students who have already arrived on campus, be sure to check out the farmer’s market. Berea College isn’t the only vendor either, be sure to support all of the other local farmers and artisans out in the community!
So, start your school year off right with a healthy diet and stop by this week to see the friendly faces. (Also, for those dog lovers out there– there are always an abundance of fur friends to love and meet.) It’s not just about the food, it’s about the community!
